The Sandside has a mouth-watering menu, crammed with homemade cakes and other goodies supplied by local people for the breakfasts, lunches, snacks and afternoon teas. Crab and other seafood from an old Whitby fishing family. Deliveries from Whitby's famous Botham Bakers. Pies and pasties fresh from the legendary Bob Ford's butchers shop in the moorland village of Glaisdale. Whitby ice cream. Soups, sandwiches and salads prepared daily in the new kitchen.

So if the weather is too fine to be sat indoors why not take advantage of the picnic and hampers that they prepare!
